This project was a true labor of love, delving into the ways in which the video game VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action resonated with me in such a deep and meaningful capacity.

I took the opportunity to develop my skillset in visual effects and editing, attempting to emulate the video game's complex and distinctive artstyle.

Often I find that some of the most deeply-held feelings are impossible to convey to others, which became manifest in the process of writing this video's script. This was by far my most revised written work- spanning across several months worth of revisions. Despite being over 2,000 words at its finalized version, the total that were written between all the drafts exceed this by a great magnitude.

The essay is crafted to appeal to both fans of the genre and newcomers to the game. Above all else, I hope that my passion and reverence for this work is articulated to the public.
